Technological process of production of our tungsten carbide drawing dies: powder process → formula according to the use requirements → wet grinding → mixing → smash → dry → sieving → add binder → dry again → get the mixture after sieving → pelletize → pressing → forming → sinter-hip → forming (blank)→ cylindrical grinding → packaging → entering warehouse.

Tungsten carbide drawing dies is often used in lieu of high priced PCD wire drawing die and also for drawing thicker wires. In China, the cobalt content in tungsten carbide drawing die is basically the same as that in Soviet Union. The traditional grade  in China is almost YG8, rarely YG15 and YG6X.  Later, in order to obtain better wearing resistance, the cobalt content has to be decreased.

Tungsten carbide drawing dies is used by all major wire producer. It has very high compressive strength and hence can take high pressure. It is used in wire drawing industries for drawing of different materials like Mild Steel (M.S), High Carbon (H.C), Stainless Steel (S.S), Brass, Aluminium etc.

Tungsten carbide tube drawing die – this tungsten carbide wire drawing die in round, hex, square and any other special shape are used for the drawing operation of tubes of various materials like mild steel (M.S), stainless steel (S.S), brass, copper etc. We also make mandrels of various shapes that are used to maintain the inner diameter of the tube.
